Uppsala Academic Rowing Society wants to build a stronger club and community. We want more students to experience the joy of rowing. We are therefore carrying out a recruitment project in 2021. We also want to develop UARS so that both new and old members feel welcome regardless of ambition level as well as gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexuality or age. A more inclusive club to put it simply. We want inclusion to be a natural conversation topic within the topic and an obvious attitude in our club. What is Squashaddict? A good mix of societal benefits and project content where the squash becomes meaningful in addition to the game itself opens up opportunities for a strong and broad recruitment campaign. A "hub" for games, training, study where diversity, equality, tolerance and personal development are the common thread. The purpose is to start a project to develop collaboration with municipalities, schools, youth leaders / coaches, hall owners and associations to create "youth hubs" for young people between 10-19 years for games, training and personal development activities such as mentoring, counseling and study. for studies or vocational training. We will work in four steps over the next three years: Start a pilot project with a municipality to create in practice "the attractive end product". Start up two more municipalities during the first year and about 18 schools. New collaborations with another six municipalities and a total of about 60 schools. Continue development and collaborate with a total of 15 municipalities and> 100 schools. At the same time, we have begun new dialogues with more and more municipalities. There are already many talented people who are committed to getting us started. They work with project development, sponsorship issues and with preparation and planning for the pilot project. This may be one of the most important projects we ever start to create a good, stronger breadth where we will hopefully also find new talent. As I said, it is an ambitious project that, once started, will be led by a steering group and further financed by sponsors, municipalities and schools. To promote community and group conversations, we are now raising money to buy outdoor furniture in a sustainable material. The outdoor table with chairs we have looked at would cost us about SEK 6,500 and your contribution - small or large - makes a difference! Through its anniversary fund, Sörmland's water has contributed as much as SEK 3,000! We are of course super happy for this and want to thank THREE thousand times. Due to this, we have chosen to lower the collection target by SEK 3,000.

Special Olympics School Days are sports days for special schools where students get the chance to discover the joy of movement in a simple and fun way. Local sports associations participate during the day to reduce the step of becoming active in an association. The sports days have been arranged since 2015 and annually given thousands of children and young people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to try out sports that are in the local area. After the day, many students have moved on to a sports club. Your contribution creates the opportunity for an active lifestyle for people with intellectual disabilities and contributes to a more inclusive sports movement. The goal of SEK 20,000 corresponds to the approximate cost of arranging a School Day.

The ambassador program within Special Olympics Sweden is about making visible and increasing interest in sports for people with intellectual disabilities. The program trains young athletes to be strong leaders and role models to get more people moving. People with intellectual disabilities are often further away from association life and are less visible in sports than the rest of the population. The group makes up about 1 percent of Sweden's population, but is often excluded from social contexts such as association life and public health surveys. If we look at participation in sports associations, the Swedish Agency for Youth and Civil Society Affairs shows that young people in special schools are active in sports associations to a lesser extent than other young people. Your contribution gives people with intellectual disabilities a voice and the opportunity for an active lifestyle. The target of SEK 10,000 corresponds to the approximate cost of training a new ambassador.

Rosersbergs IK turns 100 years old as a sports association. Of course, we want to pay attention to this throughout 2021! We will hold two major events during the year. In September, we will have RIK Day when there will be lots of fun activities for our members and a disco for the children in the evening. Later, in November, we will have our best anniversary party ever for our adult members! For this purpose, we need to raise a substantial amount of money to make it unforgettable for all RIK'ers, and what is not more appropriate than aiming to reach SEK 100,000? Special Olympics Sweden conducts and develops sports activities for people with intellectual disabilities. For us, sport is not just a physical activity but a way to create a more inclusive society where everyone gets the chance to participate in sports and other leisure activities. This is something that everyone by law should have the right to, but which so many have still ended up outside. By creating a context, we counteract the exclusion that affects many with intellectual disabilities. With the help of sports, they get a meaningful and healthy leisure time that makes a spark awaken and that personal development accelerates. Special Olympics is broad and exercise sports at all levels, but it is also the common talk before kick-off and the hug after the goal. Sports leadership is highly dependent on good leaders. Leaders who can motivate and challenge practitioners to develop in their sport. In RA-19, we want to work to create health and well-being but also community and togetherness between leaders and practitioners. Floorball in RA-19 must be available to everyone, we must work actively for breadth and elite, from the youngest to the oldest. To do that, we need to constantly further educate and further develop ourselves at both the individual level and at the association level. RA-19 now wants to create a series of opportunities with lectures , discussions and meetings with a focus on further training our sports leaders . We want to stream more elite squash matches and for that we need better equipment! Better microphone, better camera and a tripod. If you want to be able to watch Swedish live squash at an elite level during April 2021, we need your help! What is Game Time? During the month of February, we streamed elite squash matches with some of the country's best players every Tuesday at Östsvenska Squashförbundet - We called the broadcasts Game Time. The broadcasts were very successful and have received great engagement on social media. 4 matches were streamed and in total the broadcasts have reached over 20,000 people. In April, we plan to hold an 2nd edition of Game Time, an even better and even more fun version - where the 7-time Swedish Championship gold medalist Christian Drakenberg will participate. To be able to do that, we need better film equipment, prize money for the players and microphones for better sound recording and live commentator during the matches!
