Alla Kvinnors Hus is a non-profit organization with many years of experience of working with adults and children who are victims of domestic violence. They provide support, counseling and offer sheltered housing to women, men and children. They also accept accompanying pets. In addition, they also work to increase knowledge and change attitudes by providing schools, authorities, politicians, companys and the media with relevant information.Today they have about 550 members, which make them the largest non-profit women's shelter in the country. The organisation is primarily run by employed staff. To ensure good quality, all volunteers undergo compulsory training and continuous further training.
