ANT: Preventive education for Sweden's young people about the harmful effects of alcohol, drugs and tobacco.
Many young people and young adults in Sweden have been told that alcohol, drugs and tobacco are harmful, regardless of this, they choose to try at an early stage which can later lead to serious diseases but mainly a need and a bad habit that can be difficult to break. Many young people have no understanding of what actually happens to the body and we have noticed that a deeper understanding and better knowledge leads to fewer tests.
What do we do? Through a collaboration with medical students from the University of Sweden, we educate high school and high school students about what happens to the body when alcohol, drugs or tobacco are used. The goal is for all of Sweden's young adults and young people to have the knowledge and motivation they need to be able to take a stand on and make conscious choices about their health and their ANT use. We therefore intend to reduce the importance of alcohol, drugs and tobacco in the social interaction between young people. Together with doctors with many years of experience, we have created our own well-functioning educational material that can be integrated with the schools education plan. We want to give all young people in Sweden, regardless of background, a better health and start in life.
Today, we have succeeded in educating more than 30,000 students, of which 84% think that more people should take part in our education. With your help, we can ensure that more people can actually take part in our education.
Every krona is counted so that we can complete our educations. For SEK 14 we can educate a student, for SEK 420 an entire class and for SEK 3,000 a theme lecture for 350 students at a school. Your contribution goes in full so that our medical students and psychology students can lecture and educate in schools around the country.
1 student = 14 kr
1 class = 420 kr
350 students (THEME lecture) = SEK 3,000
