Delight our children through the squash, contribute to SSK's junior fund!
SSK's junior operations are financed through fees, grants and sponsorship. Without grants and sponsorship, we would not be able to have a junior business with the rank and breadth we now have. The board and hall staff work hard every year to fill the budget deficit of SEK 100.00-120,000. Parents and elite juniors contribute by engaging non-profit and thereby reducing costs. To create a little more financial stability, SSK's Junior Fund was established in the autumn of 2021. Now you have the chance to support us! Through this fundraiser, members, individuals and companies can now contribute to SSK's Junior Fund. This activates and delights children and young people through the squash. We are extremely grateful for all contributions! What do you know about SSK's junior activities? We are growing so fast! During 2020/21, our junior business grew by over 100%. New ball machine to enable better solo training in Corona times
Covid-19 challenges society in many ways. For the club's junior activities and for the hall, we see a reduced participation in the training. We think this is sad for everyone, but we understand that it is a natural effect when social distancing is requested by our authorities. Solo training with a ball machine could be a fun and effective alternative. However, the hall's ball machine is something to the years and with some important defects that have not been remedied, which limits the training opportunities. Solo training with a modern ball machine can be a creative solution that enables fun, challenging and developing training for our members. Therefore, the club now wants to buy a new ball machine ( HIT Trainer ) so that our members, juniors as well as seniors and veterans, can come and train themselves but reduced risk of becoming infected. Here you can see one of the world's best squash players - Borja Golan - train yourself with a ball machine. Video 1 Video 2
Let's squash for the children of Ukraine
SSK welcomes all squash clubs to strike a blow for the children of Ukraine What is happening in Ukraine is terrible. Several of SSK's members have connections to the war and even though we can not influence the situation from here, we feel that we want to do something. Now on Saturday, we are therefore running a charitable squash event at Gärdet's squash hall to raise money for SOS Children's Villages, which runs activities to create security for the children in Ukraine. Saturday the 5th of March Come now on Saturday at 11: 30-13: 45 and challenge SSK club members and squash players from other clubs in a squash match. Roslagen, Wasa, Enskede and you others. Hang on! We run a simple tournament with a handicap system so that it is fair. If you do not want to play a match, you can still participate, both on and off the court. Everyone can participate and thus contribute. Participants from all clubs are welcome, even players who are not affiliated with a club. Let us together dedicate a common thought to the people of Ukraine. Engage yourself and others On this page you can buy tickets and sign up, your family, friends or maybe your company. If you can not participate, it is possible to send in a contribution anyway. All funds raised go in full to SOS activities for children in Ukraine. Thank you Gärdets Squashhall! Big THANKS to Magnus, Christian and Erik at Gärdet's Squashhall who donate the entire track rent to SOS Children's Villages. Fantastic! Help us spread this invitation in your networks so that we can get as many as possible to the event. The need in Ukraine is now !!!
