The Fisheries Secretariat is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection and restoration of marine ecosystem services, with a focus on fisheries.

The goal is;

FishSec collaborate and coordinate;
with a wide range of organisations and are members of several networks and formal bodies working on fish stocks in the Baltic Sea region and at EU level.

Some of our existing and earlier partners are;

Towards sustainable fisheries via advocacy;
we advocate for fisheries within the limits of the frame of a healthy marine ecosystem, preserving marine resources as well as their habitats. We are mainly active in the EU and regional policy development in the Baltic Sea, supporting other civil society organisations to advocate in their countries.
