UN Women Sverige bjuder in till HeForSheRUN 2021

En av tre kvinnor utsätts för våld under sin livstid. Med HeForSheRun vill UN Women Sverige uppmana dig att manifestera mot våldet genom friskvård och hälsa.UN Women Sverige samarbetar bland annat med idrotten genom HeForShe-kampanjen för att engagera fler män och pojkar i jämställdhetsfrågan. Vi har alla ett gemensamt ansvar i arbetet för att stoppa alla former av våld och diskriminering mot kvinnor och flickor.Loppet pågår under hela september månad och du kan när det passar dig springa, gå, cykla eller ta dig fram på valfritt sätt, valfri sträcka. As the heavy military offensive continues in Ukraine, reports of civilian casualties andcivilian infrastructure damage continue to increase, with communities at thebrink of a humanitarian catastrophe. Since the 24th of February, more than 1 million Ukrainians, a vast majority of whom are women, girls and children have fled their homes and sought refuge in neighboring countries. The current situation jeopardizes the safety of all Ukrainians and puts women and girls at increased risk of sexual and gender-based violence, especially those who are refugees or otherwise displaced from their homes. The situation is dire. Many women’s organizations are unable to operatedue to shelling and displacement. UN Women stands in solidarity with the women of Ukraine, including thosewho had to flee their homes and separate from their loved ones, those whostayed to provide humanitarian support in extremely difficult circumstances andat great risk, and the women human rights defenders and activists who aremaking their voices heard in calling for peace.
