Making everyday life easier for families with childhood cancer
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, life turns upside down.In Sweden, one child is diagnosed with cancer every day, and around 750–800 children are treated for various types of cancer every year. The average treatment time is one year, which means that around 3,200 children and adults are affected each year when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Support, care, and concrete measures are therefore needed to make everyday life easier for everyone affected.AjaBajaCancer is a non-profit organization in Sweden that makes everyday life easier for families living with childhood cancer. We offer families financial, psychological, and social support through, for example, gift cards for food, tickets to events, or counseling.
